The first of those comes under the Friday night lights in the Welsh capital with Foley determined to see his side pick up the first of six consecutive wins.
Munster will go into the clash buoyed by the news that Foley has agreed an extension to his current deal while they also intend to appoint a Director of Rugby for the 2016/17 campaign.
With Glasgow Warriors and Edinburgh Rugby just four points behind the Munstermen this term, failure to achieve perfection between now and the end of the regular season could prove costly to Foley's men.
And, while the Blues currently occupy ninth place in the GUINNESS PRO12 table, Foley is under no illusions as to how difficult it will be to pick up a victory at BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park.
"It's like every game we're going to play from here on in. We're in cup final mode for a period now and try and win every game we can play and Cardiff is no different," Foley told the Limerick Leader.
"You know we look at how good they have been at home this season. They were unlucky not to win a few more games and they've taken some big sides there so it's important that we know the challenge that's there.
"The pitch, the atmosphere, it's an international weekend so there might be a few more going to the game than normal so it's important we turn up and play to the best of our ability."
