The Welsh region have lost skipper Jones to a foot problem - with Wales coach Warren Gatland revealing that the lock will need at least six weeks to recover.
That leaves Steve Tandy's side with some large boots to fill in their pack, but Tipuric - who will line up for Wales against Italy this weekend - thinks the team can cope with the loss.
"It is bad news, but that's what happens when a guy runs around at 100mph and puts his body on the line week-in, week-out," Tipuric told the South Wales Evening Post.
"He's class, an immense player for us. But somebody else will just have to step forward.
"One thing I will say is there are some good second rows with us at the minute, like Rory Thornton and Adam Beard, and there are others in the squad who can fill that role as well.
"We're just going to have to do what we can to cope without Al. It's a big ask, but that's what squads are for."
