Danny Wilson hailed his side's attitude after Rhys Patchell's 19-point haul inspired Cardiff Blues to five points.
Macauley Cook, Matthew Rees, Garyn Smith and Patchell all crossed for the Blues as they turned over an 8-3 deficit to bounce back from defeat last time out to Glasgow Warriors.
And a vintage kicking performance from Rory Clegg on his return to the Warriors saw them edge out Leinster in a try-less GUINNESS PRO12 affair at Scotstoun.
But what did we learn across the two fixtures - here's our guide of what you need to know from Cardiff and Glasgow.
Is Rhys Patchell international?
The 22-year-old produced a mature performance for Cardiff scoring 19 points. It was not just his near faultless kicking off the tee that helped Blues secure a bonus point win but it was also his creativity behind the scrum. The fly-half also scored a try to cap a fine evening for Danny Wilson's men.
Consistency is the key for Cardiff
Prior to kick-off Cardiff's only victory in their last four GUINNESS PRO12 fixtures was 23-13 at home to Ulster in round 16. However, against in-form Munster it was a different story altogether as intricate play between backs and forwards suddenly clicked - Wilson will be hoping to bottle the performance and reuse it throughout the final weeks of the season.
What next for Munster?
Anthony Foley's Munster outfit had lost just one away game in the GUINNESS PRO12 since the turn of the year and with wins in their last two outings against Dragons and Benetton Treviso, they looked nailed on to win in Cardiff. The defeat now looks costly for the Munstermen, with Ulster now four points ahead of them in the race for a play-off spot.
Foley will be concerned by his side's discipline and wastefulness with ball in hand - urgent improvements are needed.
Never write Glasgow off
Glasgow Warriors have now lost just one of their last seven first team fixtures: 13-10 away at Ulster in February, while the Warriors solitary defeat at Scotstoun since September was 26-15 to Northampton in the European Champions Cup on 21 November.
Against high-flying Leinster in Glasgow they showed their championship quality and having moved up to sixth in the table, they are ominously moving towards another play-off place come May.
Wasted opportunity
Leinster had a golden opportunity to put their stamp on this season's GUINNESS PRO12 season by taking over from Connacht at the summit of the table - but it wasn't to be in Glasgow.
Leinster had lost just once in the Guinness PRO12 since round four: 23-13 to Newport Gwent Dragons at Rodney Parade in January, with the Leinstermen's only defeat to a Scottish opponent in their last five such encounters was against Edinburgh - it was all change in Glasgow though.
Leinster's only previous victory at Scotstoun was 6-0 in November 2012 - that was also the only time that the Warriors have been nilled at home - and the Irish side will need to regroup and quickly after their chastening experience last Friday.
In a try-less encounter Leinster simply couldn't get going and with the season reaching the business end of proceedings; an improvement next weekend is crucial.
