With international players now back at their respective clubs following the RBS 6 Nations campaign, all 12 teams involved in the GUINNESS PRO12 will be seeking big wins in their push for the Play-Offs and Final, as well as European qualification next season.
Commenting on the exciting games ahead Martin Anayi, managing director, PRO12 Rugby, said: "Following the success of the Christmas and New Year festive derbies we are now set for even larger attendances with three of the games to be played in large, iconic stadiums.
"We are now coming to the business-end of the season and there are some mouth-watering clashes for fans of the Guinness PRO12 to look forward to over the coming weeks including the matches this weekend.
"Tomorrow (25 March) Glasgow Warriors entertain Ulster. And on Saturday (26 March) Ospreys face Scarlets and Connacht play Leinster in games that will be two great inter-region and interprovincial fixtures. The subsequent results will have an important bearing on the placings in the GUINNESS PRO12 table.
"With so much at stake for many of the clubs it will make for some great rugby and generate terrific atmospheres at games and I am sure fans across the four nations will continue to get behind their respective clubs at all their remaining games."
The Leinster versus Munster matches are always tight, exciting affairs, and Mick Dawson, chief executive, Leinster Rugby, is looking forward to another memorable match on 2 April: "The Leinster against Munster matches historically produce great rugby and is one of the major club derbies in the world game.
"We are delighted that nearly 40,000 tickets have already been sold for this major sporting event and these big crowds are great both for ourselves and for the Guinness PRO12 championship as a whole."
With a big focus on the Welsh 'Big Six' derbies, Mark Davies, chief executive, Pro Rugby Wales commented: "To see six major local derbies contested here in Wales over the next six weeks is unprecedented - it will be a unique and intense period for professional rugby in Wales.
"It's a tremendous opportunity for our coaches, players, partners and supporters to join and celebrate our game across all four regions with so much riding on each and every match. With seeding for the European competitions dependent on finishing positions in the Guinness PRO12 competition, it's a critical time in the season with much more than regional pride at stake."
