Eighth-placed Blues are five points behind Munster in sixth and will need all of their attacking muscle in the last three Guinness PRO12 games to try and sneak a European Champions Cup slot for next season.
"We play a certain shape that gives us a number of attacking options and structure," said Wilson.
"That shape is working well for us, but credit to the players who are making the right decisions at the right time in that shape to cause other teams problems.
"We scored some great tries away at Scarlets. It's great that we can do it at home on our playing surface, but we've now proved we can do it away from home against good opposition too."
Cardiff scored three tries at Parc y Scarlets two weekends ago and their positive mentality was recognised by Wales wing Alex Cuthbert when he signed an extension on his contract.
In 22-year-old Rhys Patchell the club have the Guinness PRO12's top point-scorer and the Blues are leading the points scoring charts with 466.
Patchell and his Blues' team-mates will look to continue their free-scoring form when they welcome Newport Gwent Dragons to the BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park on Sunday.
