The previous three Judgement Days have certainly been occasions to remember with household names lighting it up on the hallowed turf and new stars being created.
And while we don't know exactly which players will be the story come Saturday, here are some names to look out for.
Rynier Bernardo - Ospreys
Alun Wyn Jones may miss out on Judgement Day IV as he battles a foot injury but even if the Ospreys and Wales legend is unable to start - fear not, Rynier Bernardo is a more than capable replacement in the boiler room.
The giant South African is a force in the line-out and takes some stopping in open play as proven by his starring role in Guinness PRO12 victories over Benetton Treviso and Newport Gwent Dragons in recent weeks.
Dan Biggar - Ospreys
You can't talk about Judgement Day without mentioning Dan Biggar, who, with 39, has scored more points than any other player in the history of the event, leading his side to victory on each occasion.
The fly-half's tally includes six penalties and eight conversions but the highlight was undoubtedly his try in Ospreys' 31-23 win over Cardiff Blues 12 months ago as Alun Wyn Jones punched a hole in the defence and released Biggar to score under the posts.
Who knows what magic the 26-year-old will conjure up this year?
Taulupe Faletau - Newport Gwent Dragons
Taulupe Faletau's time at Newport Gwent Dragons will soon be over, so what better way to go out than by helping them to a first-ever Judgement Day victory?
The bruising No.8 has been a behemoth in the Dragons back row since his debut against Edinburgh in 2009 and could be a game-changer once more at Principality Stadium.
Gethin Jenkins - Cardiff Blues
The old warhorse of Welsh rugby is still fighting fit at 35 years young and was a regular starter in club rugby before Cardiff Blues even came into existence.
With 123 caps to his name, no-one has appeared more times in a Wales shirt while he has also been immovable in the front row of the Blues scrum for the best part of 12 years.
And his eight Guinness PRO12 appearances this season have proved he is not yet slowing down.
Ken Owens - Scarlets
The only two men to have scored more than one try in Judgment Day history are George North and, believe it or not, Ken Owens.
The hooker is not renowned for his scoring prowess yet he dotted down against Cardiff Blues in 2014 before repeating the trick against Newport Gwent Dragons 12 months ago.
The Principality Stadium air clearly inspires Owens to channel his inner prolific finisher, so keep an eye out for him making it a hat-trick this year.
Rhys Patchell - Cardiff Blues
If Cardiff Blues manage to down Ospreys on Saturday then chances are Rhys Patchell will have had a large role to play.
The fly-half or full-back is a danger with ball in hand and metronomic from the tee to the extent that no-one has scored more than his 174 points in the Guinness PRO12 this season.
Sarel Pretorius - Newport Gwent Dragons
South African scrum-half Sarel Pretorius is the man who makes the Dragons tick - dictating play from the base of the scrum and releasing their dangerous back-line.
Pretorius also seems to enjoy crossing the whitewash against other Welsh regions, dotting down against Cardiff Blues last time out while also scoring during the Dragons' clash with Saturday's opponents Scarlets back in October.
DTH van der Merwe - Scarlets
The 2015 Rugby World Cup may have served as DTH van der Merwe's coming-out party on the world stage but Guinness PRO12 fans were already well aware of the flying winger's talents.
After starring for Glasgow Warriors since 2009, the Canadian's move to Scarlets over the summer means he will have a chance to experience Judgement Day for the first time.
He has bagged seven league tries already this term and Scarlets fans will be hoping he can recreate his debut for the club that saw him dot down twice against Leinster last October.
