Leinster 17 Glasgow Warriors 15, 11/05/2013
Reigning champions Glasgow Warriors are going for a hat-trick of successive PRO12 finals but their cruel semi-final defeat to Leinster in 2013 was a portent of things to come.
Glasgow had topped the try-scoring charts during the regular season with 66 and they outgunned Leinster two tries to one at the RDS, with scrum-half Nikola Matawalu and a 20-year-old Mark Bennett crossing over.
But the experience of Jonathan Sexton won out, as his four penalties allied to Jamie Heaslip's first-half score set Leinster on their way to the final and ultimately their first PRO12 title for five years.
It was nip-and-tuck all the way through - Leinster were nosing it 12-11 at the break - and Scotland full-back Stuart Hogg's missed conversion of Bennett's try with five minutes remaining proved costly.

Glasgow Warriors 16 Munster 15, 16/05/2014
Having been beaten at the semi-final stage twice in a row, it was a case of third time lucky for Gregor Townsend's troops in another nail-biter.
Damien Varley and Sean Dougall scored in either half for Munster though the boot of Finn Russell kept the Warriors ahead.
But the unlikely match-winner was prop Gordon Reid, who until that point had only scored two tries in his four seasons playing in the PRO12.
He crashed over early in the second half before Munster fly-half Keatley, who was made to rue a missed conversion, reduced the deficit to one in the 67th minute with a penalty - but Glasgow clung on.
Leinster 13 Ulster 9, 17/05/2014
A large part of the reason why Leinster are so successful in the PRO12 is their unshakeable resolve - and that particular attribute was tested to the limit two years ago.
Ulster had lost to Leinster in the previous year's final but were well on the way to avenging that defeat early on in the second half at the RDS.
Paddy Jackson had just added his third penalty from the tee, putting Ulster 9-0 in front as Leinster struggled in the face of a ferocious defence.
But Jimmy Gopperth set about chipping away at the deficit with two penalties of his own and the game turned on its head completely when Ian Madigan raced over late on.
One more heroic defensive stand was required by Leinster after Ulster kicked a penalty to the corner - and they completed their great escape.

Glasgow Warriors 16 Ulster 14, 22/05/2015
Glasgow had beaten Ulster 32-10 in the regular season closer but this Scotstoun classic was anything but one sided.
Ulster went in at half-time with an 8-6 lead off the back of a try from Ireland flanker Chris Henry, Warriors keeping the scores close through two Finn Russell penalties.
Ruan Pienaar was winning the battle of the boot by the 67th minute however, as his third effort - this one from long range - sailed over and extended the lead out to five points.
But the Warriors kept hammering away and a superb pass from Russell found DTH van der Merwe on the sideline with five minutes to go - and the Canada winger delivered the finish.
It was all down to Russell's touch-line conversion and the young Scot kept his cool to fire Glasgow into the final.
Munster 21 Ospreys 18, 23/05/2015
This was the last semi-final to have been played before this year's play-offs get underway - and Ospreys could not quite become the first side in the final four to win a PRO12 play-off away from home.
It was one-way traffic in the first-half as Ireland wing Simon Zebo's score just before half-time pushed Munster out into an 11-3 lead.
But a madcap ten minutes after the break saw Denis Hurley and Paddy Butler dot down for the hosts, as well as Ospreys duo Rhys Webb and Jeff Hassler.
Matters were not helped from a Munster point of view by Ian Keatley's kicking, as a possible 15 points went begging from the tee.
Ospreys fly-half Dan Biggar scored eight points to Keatley's six with the boot but there was still a three-point deficit between the two teams at the death.
And ecstasy turned to agony for the Welsh region after the TMO spotted a knock-on in the build-up to what would have been a last-gasp Josh Matavesi try.
