Roberts' comeback is an added bonus for the Blues, with Wales quartet Sam Warburton, Leigh Halfpenny, Alex Cuthbert and Bradley Davies also back in the frame after missing the opening day victory over Connaught.
The centre will be available for the Blues until a likely call-up for the autumn Tests, and Davies heaped praise on Roberts for the temperament and resolve shown throughout his lay-off.
"Jamie will be available from next Monday," Davies told Wales Online.
"He has been very focused which has allowed him to get into this situation.
"He has worked incredibly hard with the medical staff and we have a new piece of equipment that is helping the injured players return.
"He has done well himself in and around all his studying because he is coming to the end of a seven-year degree where he will qualify as a doctor.
"We don't want to rely on certain individuals and we need be able to count on whichever 23 players are selected for that particular game.
"We are going to make a couple of changes but we have kept the consistent spine of the team as it was last week. When you have quality players to add into that, it is very pleasing.
"Slowly but surely we are getting back to full fitness which is pleasing because we have not got a big squad."
