That left Davies' side without a win since the end of September and on a run of five straight defeats in all competitions.
But having lost a lot of experience in the summer, with Gethin Jenkins, Richie Rees and John Yapp just three of those to depart, Davies is adamant the Blues will come good.
He told Wales Online: "I am not going to give up, not after nine games.
"Nobody is putting any context on this. Everybody knows where we are with the situation.
"We have lost an incredible amount of experience. These young fellas are standing up and trying things.
"Lots of them are in different positions to where they were in the squad before. They have been pushed to the front.
"We've just got to keep working with them and keep pushing on.
"They have plenty of ideas and plenty of determination and we keep looking at ways to improve.
"It's not pleasant at the moment, but better results will come."
