It's one of two new strips for season 2012/13 designed by Canterbury of New Zealand, our official kit supplier.
The home strip offers a fresh twist on the club's traditional black and blue colours, while the change kit is predominantly a familiar white. The strips were today modelled by new signing Angus Macdonald, a former All Black flanker, and highly-regarded stand-off Ruaridh Jackson.
With RESPONSE, the Warriors' principal sponsor for the past three years, having come to the end of their agreement, Glasgow are currently continuing the process of securing the right long-term partner to contribute to the progress being made on and off the pitch at Scotstoun Stadium.
Managing director Nathan Bombrys told www.glasgowwarriors.org: "I'd like to put on record our thanks and appreciation to RESPONSE for their investment and support over the last three years.
"With the move to a first-class integrated playing and training base at Scotstoun, significant investment in the squad from Scottish Rugby, record Season Ticket Membership sales and a genuine belief that we can challenge for honours, there has never been a more exciting time to be involved with Glasgow Warriors.
"The process of securing a main sponsor takes time, from both perspectives, and is a partnership that we want to get right as it is important to the future development of the club.
"We are working hard to secure another main sponsor who will partner with us to help deliver growth and success for Glasgow Warriors for the foreseeable future.
"As part of a new Scottish Rugby-wide commercial strategy tied to an ambitious Strategic Plan, independent analysis has been carried out as to the value of the main sponsor title.
"Glasgow Warriors and Scottish Rugby are absolutely determined to achieve the appropriate values and sponsorship fit to enhance the club's growing profile and appeal."
Bombrys noted that both the home and change kits are expected to be available for purchase through Greaves Sports, the club's official retail partner, by the end of September, explaining: "We know that our supporters are very keen to see the new strips and to get their hands on them.
"Having their logo included on retail stock is attractive to potential main sponsors, and so we must leave scope for that to happen while making the strips available for supporters as quickly as practically possible.
"We thank our fans for their patience, and will keep them updated on when the kits will be available for purchase through Greaves Sports."
