Mr Pavan admitted that he had committed an act of foul play, in contravention of Law 10.4(j). The disciplinary committee accordingly upheld the citing and imposed a suspension of three weeks, having found the offence to have been at the low end of the scale of offending but, in recognising the need for a deterrent added a further two weeks before allowing mitigation for Mr Pavan's previous good disciplinary record and his guilty plea. Mr Pavan is free again to play on Wednesday 28 March.
