The Ospreys will be travelling hoping to keep their hands on the Magners League trophy after upsetting Leinster in Dublin in last season's inaugural Grand Final. And having beaten Munster at Thomond Park on their way to taking the title they are ready to fight to the bitter end.
"Munster don't have a small hardcore of followers - it's a large hardcore of devoted fans to the Munster cause," said Ospreys skipper Alun Wyn Jones.
"You go out there and you are very well aware of where you are and who you are playing - their fans make a real difference to the atmosphere.
"That's the great thing about playing out there - and the boys on the pitch are not too bad, either. It all adds up to a good recipe for winning rugby.
"But we've won there before and we've beaten them at home. It's about going out there and playing a bit of rugby.
"We really dug in when we won out there last season. We showed the maturity that we are trying to spawn and got the win, whereas at other times we haven't been astute and mature."
This season has seen Munster win three out of the four meetings to date in the Magners League and Heineken Cup. Their most recent triumph came at the Liberty Stadium when Ronan O'Gara kicked a match-winning penalty with the last play of the game.
That secured a 22-20 triumph and repaid the home team for their 19-15 victory at the same venue in the Heineken Cup. Now comes Act V of the season with a place in the Grand Final at stake.
