Holley admitted the surrender of their title was disappointing but he has reaffirmed he will not be leaving the coaching set-up at the Liberty stadium.
"I'm here to stay to stay, don't you worry about that," Holley told BBC Wales Sport.
"It's been a disappointing season overall. But we'll pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off and have a better one next year."
After spending the majority of the season comfortably inside the Play-Off places, a run of four games without victory following the Six Nations saw the region fall outside the top four.
But they scraped in on the final weekend with an unconvincing 12-10 win over bottom club Aironi, coupled with Cardiff Blues' defeat at the Scarlets.
Unfortunately for the Ospreys faithful, they failed to hit top form at Thomond Park and fell to a fourth reverse to Munster this season.
The region are going through a transitional phase with James Hook, Lee Byrne, Craig Mitchell, Marty Holah and Jerry Collins all confirmed departures.
But the rebuilding process has already begun and the Ospreys have signed George Stowers, Joe Bearman and Kahn Fotuali'i ahead of the 2011/12 campaign.
