Scarlets head coach Nigel Davies insists his side will be solely focussed on recording a double over the Cardiff Blues and not the events in northern Italy.
With the fourth and final Magners League play-off spot still up for grabs, the Scarlets could be excused for having one eye on the Ospreys' clash with Aironi tonight.
To finish in the top four the Scarlets not only need to beat the Blues but hope Aironi record a shock victory over reigning Magners League Champions.
But Davies insists he is determined to see his side finish a once promising season on a winning note in the season's final Welsh derby.
"All we are focusing on is the win," said Davies. "Mathematically we still have a chance to go through, although that's not in our control.
"We want to finish our season on the right note and with the right momentum. Our last result in Glasgow showed the progression we've made, there was a lot of pressure on us to get that win and we controlled the game well in the second half and played with composure.
"It's going to be a big ask against a physical Blues side full of internationals and they will be bitter after their loss to the Dragons.
"As for the Ospreys, I've been to Aironi and it's not the easiest place to go to.
"It's a pressure game for them, but as we've said all season, we'll be focusing on our own performance. The players want to put right our last performance here against Munster in front of our home crowd."
