"I am working on being ready if Nick Mallett wants to use me throughout Saturday's game," he said.
"I am physically 100 per cent.
"I have only taken a little bit of time to find the rhythm with the squad considering I have not played for Italy since the November Tests."
Mallet will announce his squad for the game later today as Italy go in search of their first victory in this year' tournament. Impressive outings against Ireland and Wales have impressed many this year, but without a win to their name they are searching for a win to avoid the Wooden Spoon award.
