The Blues picked up one of the shock results of the opening round of the European fixtures when they won away to big-spending Racing Metro.
They now host the Exiles at the Cardiff City Stadium where they have only won once this season - 33-18 against Benetton Treviso in the second round of the RaboDirect PRO12.
But having put together their best performance of the season againstthe Parisians, Davies is adamant the benchmark has been set for the rest of the season.
"We have got to believe in our ability and do what we can do and hopefully get the result," he said.
"The win in Paris has given us a bit of self-belief. The talk all week going out to Racing was to stamp our authority on the game and just stick in there.
"For us, it's a case of settling down and not getting too far ahead of ourselves after the result in Paris.
"We have just got to get things right on the field and hopefully get the result. It's up to us to get a win and establish a good lead in this group.
"I think it all came together well. It was a bit of a shocking start with a couple of injuries, but we regrouped and dug in and got the result.
"Taking all our chances was a big part of it. It was a case of sticking in the game and playing rugby in the right places, which we haven't done when we've played out in France previously.
"For us now, it's a case of not undoing the good work we did in Paris by losing our next game.
"It's really important to get a result this week and keep going in the group.
"We've got to keep moving forward and hopefully this will be another stepping stone."
