The Welsh region ensured their European action began in style, beating Biarritz 28-21 on home soil this weekend.
As is becoming customary this season Biggar - who already has 104 RaboDirect PRO12 points to his name - was the star of the show, kicking 23 points.
But with a tough trip to Italy coming hot on the heels of this weekend's victory Biggar has called on the Ospreys to banish any thoughts of complacency on Saturday.
"It's never easy first-up," said Biggar.
"If you don't win your home games in this competition, you are as good as gone.
"It's a great start but that's all it is. We have got to back it up next week. We will go as favourites but we played them out there at the start of the season and only just came away with a win.
"It's an extremely tough game and anyone who thinks we can just rock up there and pick up five points will be mistaken.
"They're a very strong side with a good set of forwards and a good kicking game. If we don't give them the full respect they deserve, then we could be on the end of a hiding out there."
