Benetton Treviso are seeking their first win of the season and their first away win since 2007, when they beat the Newport Gwent Dragons in the European Cup.
The team is flying this afternoon from Venice airport to London Gatwick, and will get to Glasgow late Thursday evening. The team will return to Treviso on Saturday evening.
Smith has made three changes to his side from last week.
Ludovico Nitoglia starting on the wing as both Benjamin De Jager and Michele Sepe got injured in the Ospreys game last Saturday.
Willem De Waal is playing as fullback, with Benetton looking to utilize his kicking ability.
Another change is in the pack, where Gonzalo Padro is starting from the bench, Manoa Vosawai is playing as flanker, and he's joined by Marco Filippucci at 8.
As for the backs, both Tommaso Iannone and Alberto Di Bernardo are starting from the bench.
