The walking-wounded don't stop there either for Edwards - with Will Harries and Jamie Smith already out injured, while Aled Brew is on World Cup duty with Wales in New Zealand.
And Edwards revealed with his threadbare back-line stretched to breaking point at present, the Dragons were on the look-out for reinforcements and quick with Connacht soon on the horizon.
Edwards said: "I'm really pleased with the result. It wasn't pretty and there are a couple of lessons to learn.
"But we have to enjoy this win because it's a tough league and everyone is stretched at the moment. It was difficult to get any continuity to our game when we lose even more players from our backline.
"We'll find out the extent of the injuries this week, but it is quite possible they won't be available for the trip to Connacht.
"We haven't got enough backs and will have to go into the Premiership for players. We have a Dragons development game tomorrow and will have a look at some players."
