But King, who made his debut in the corresponding fixture 11 months ago, warned the Gunners wouldn't have it all their own way against the Italians who are still looking for their first league win this season.
After consecutive defeats to Cardiff Blues and Ospreys to start the season, the side from the Scottish capital saw off Connacht 19-14 at Murrayfield last Friday to get themselves off the mark.
And King has called on his teammates to back up that performance with another good display in northern Italy.
"We've got to build on the Connacht win against Aironi," said King.
"I can remember the game last year. It was pretty good for me getting my debut off the bench.
"It was a tough game going to Italy and it was a sense of relief more than anything.
"They will be very physical again and we know what to expect."
King admitted training had been more enjoyable this week after the first success of the season. And the 25-year-old is hoping the team will take that good feeling up against a powerful Aironi outfit.
He added: "Coming in on the Monday is always much better.
"You don't mind the video analysis after a win. We know it's going to be physical against Aironi so now we need to really front up."
