Captain Al Kellock (calf) and prop Ryan Grant (knee) were both subject to late assessment on their respective complaints, and have been withdrawn from the team on a precautionary basis.
As a consequence, Tom Ryder will partner Richie Gray in the second row, while Gordon Reid comes in at loosehead. Scottish Rugby Elite Development prop George Hunter and back-five forward James Eddie will now be among the Warriors substitutes, with Hunter in line to make his club debut.
Rob Harley, who signed a two-year contract extension on Wednesday, will captain the side.
Head coach Sean Lineen said: "Al and Ryan have both been carrying niggles, and despite their and our physio team's best efforts, they're not quite in the right place to play tonight.
"It's obviously disappointing to lose them, but Tom has had a great start to the season and Gordon did well on his first start in the win over Cardiff at the beginning of the month, so we're still very happy with the team we'll be sending out tonight."
Tickets for the game will be on sale from 5.30pm at the Ticket Centre behind the Jackie Husband Stand.
Supporters are reminded that kick-off is slightly earlier than normal, at 7.05pm.
