Just three points separate the two heading into Saturday's clash however Griffiths insists their impressive start will be irrelevant when they take on the Irish province.
"It's going to be a big, tough match," said Griffiths.
"Hopefully we can bring more and get a good win out there. It's not easy whether you've won no games or five on the bounce, it's still a tough place to go to.
"Over the years, we've played them so many times and we know what they're going to bring to the game.
"This week's been building up nicely and, as a 23, we're excited about going there - not just to play but to win."
But while Munster downed their Welsh rivals in last year's play-offs Griffiths was quick to insist the Ospreys won't be overawed by the challenge.
"We don't put any teams on a pedestal," he said.
"It's going to be hard wherever you go. Whether it's Glasgow or Connacht, everywhere is tough so we won't put Munster on a pedestal.
"We know what they're going to bring, especially in the pack.
"We know it will be hard with their reputation and the crowd turning against us."
