And with Treviso now lying in the top half of the table before the upcoming three-week break, Zatta believes things are only going to get better when their Italian internationals return from the World Cup.
He said: "The win [against Ulster] was hard-fought but the result was never in doubt which is even more satisfying.
"The credit deserves to go to the team, this great squad of lads, the coach and the rest of the staff, who are doing a fantastic job and who are being repaid for all their efforts. We're on the right path.
"I have the feeling that it is a young squad with lots of motivation giving us lots of hope for the future.
"We need to keep our feet on the ground and be aware that this is just the first part of the season.
"Once the World Cup is over a lot of internationals will return, which will have an impact on us as well as other teams. It will be an interesting championship with a few more surprises."
