Against the Ospreys, Munster lost their 18-month unbeaten run at home, having been stripped of their 14-match winning streak the previous week against Edinburgh, with Dan Biggar in fine form with the boot for the Welsh side.
But rather than blowing back-to-back defeats out of proportion, Foley is urging perspective, claiming Munster will be back to their best when their side is bolstered by the return of a whole host of Ireland's World Cup squad.
"We have a big batch of games coming up with 13 or 14 weeks in a row," he said. "When the Ireland boys come back they have a bit of break and then everyone will integrate.
"Our priority is to get Munster going forward and to get a victory against Aironi.
"As the season progresses hopefully we will get tidier in there and make sure we are more ruthless in our approach when we are two metres from the line."
