Gregor ran in one of four Glasgow tries on the night at the Cardiff City Stadium that earned them a bonus point.
But after losing to Benetton Treviso at home in the previous round, the Italian outfit's first-ever win on foreign soil in the RaboDirect PRO12, Gregor is desperate for the Warriors to start finding some consistency.
"The win against the Blues was exactly what was required, especially after the disappointment of Treviso, it's another of the Glasgow Warriors rollercoaster rides," he said.
"We got a good win in Leinster two weeks ago and a good win here but this time we really need to build on this result and take the momentum with us back to Firhill.
"It's nice to win away but we want to build some momentum at home and turn Firhill into a fortress, that was one of our key objectives at the start of the season and the game against the Dragons on Friday is a great chance for us to do that."
In addition to Gregor's score, James Eddie, Tommy Seymour and Stuart Hogg all crossed for the away side but the scrum-half paid particular tribute to his side's forward effort in the win.
"The pack were phenomenal, I was speaking to Johnnie Beattie after the game and we were saying we can't remember when a Glasgow pack has been that dominant at scrum time and we didn't give an inch in defence either," added the 30-year-old.
"We were clinical and took our chances when we had them, we have talked a lot about when we get into our opposition's 22 we need to take points and we did that."
