"In all of my time in rugby I have never seen a stat of one missed tackle and that goes to show the will to win that game," Edwards told the South Wales Argus.
"That's credit to Rob Appleyard's work. He has started to put some defensive principles in place and we are seeing the rewards.
"It was a heavy pitch with a big Italian pack waiting for us. The odds were against us but the performance was excellent and we deserved everything we got.
"It was the nature of the win. We had a good performance up front, the half-backs controlled well, midfield was solid and the back three carried and kicked the ball back well."
The Dragons will go head to head with their Scottish opponents for the eighth time in two seasons on Friday and Edwards knows his side must focus on the basics.
"We know each other inside out and the key thing for us is to keep doing our basics right," he added.
"Glasgow have got a good kicking game and it is a stadium where you can kick goals from inside your own half, so good discipline is crucial.
"It will be hard after having a quick turnaround after Aironi on Sunday and our players will need to be on the button but we have got the desire to keep our winning run going."
