Rory Lamont arrives in Glasgow

The full-back/wing has been registered as an "additional player" in the Warriors' Heineken Cup squad, replacing Dave McCall, who is currently on loan at Rotherham Titans.

This means that Lamont is available for selection for the crunch Pool 3 clash with Montpellier at Firhill on Sunday (kick-off 12.45pm).

He told www.glasgowwarriors.org: "It's great to be back at Glasgow. I've really enjoyed my first couple of days, catching up with the boys in the squad I already know and familiarising myself with the new faces.

"Sunday's game is massive for the whole club, and I can sense a real excitement in the group about the challenge that lies ahead.

"I know from my first spell with the Warriors that the Glasgow fans can make a massive impact on matches like this one with the passion that they bring, and it would be great to see another big crowd behind us this weekend."
