The Fijian admits the disappointment of the World Cup, culminating in a humiliating 66-0 loss to Wales, has hindered his club form and is desperate to make an impression at Murrayfield.
He said: "For the last two months I've been down on myself, coming from the worst World Cup there's ever been to a squad that's been playing really well but finding it hard to get involved with the new structure Michael Bradley has put in place.
"Now this is a chance to show what I'm capable of doing. It's a do-or-die situation but I'm confident we will be able to do the job.
"I'm a big ball carrier and, if they want me to do that all day, then I'll do that all day. At the same time I'll try to put in some big hits against some of their big players and, hopefully, we'll come out victorious. This is my time and I'll do what I can to keep my spot.
"Cardiff have some star names but at the end of the day they're only human beings."
