The players come in for Sean Lamont, Dan Parks, Scott Lawson, Bruce Douglas, Scott Murray and Donnie Macfadyen respectively.
On the bench coach Frank Hadden has opted for five forwards and two backs.
Hadden explained the rationale behind his selection. "Our first priority is to win the Test match this weekend and there are also things we need to look at from the World Cup perspective, such as the blend of the side and what individuals can do.
"Last week's group had the opportunity to do something special. Now that chance falls to the team for this week."
Lamont was available for selection but Hadden decided not to include him following the leg injury he sustained at the ABSA Stadium, while the selection of his pack reflects a desire to stand "toe to toe" with the physicality of the Springboks.
