He was injured late in the Heineken Cup match against Llanelli Scarlets at Stradey Park 10 days ago. "Fingers crossed it's good news," he commented. "I'm just hoping it's not too serious."
Before the Llanelli injury Kerr had played in all but one of Glasgow's 15 competition matches this season - six at full back, the same number as a wing, and two as a replacement. It was as a substitute that he played in that Stradey Park match, when he took over at full back after injury to his fellow Scotland cap, Kenny Logan.
