However Glasgow's other Cardiff casualty, Rory Lamont, will be out of rugby until at least next month.
Logan who has skippered the side in the absence of Jon Petrie in the last two games, injured his right ankle during the first half and though he completed the game the damaged leg was in a support when he flew home with the squad on Saturday night. A subsequent examination revealed that the ankle had been sprained.
Lamont, younger brother of Sean, the Scotland wing, damaged a hamstring in helping to prevent a Cardiff try on Saturday. He is receiving daily treatment, but it is too early yet to define precisely when he can return to full-time training.
Friday's match will be the first of three matches between Glasgow and Llanelli before mid-December. They meet again in a Heineken Cup match at Hughenden on Sunday 5 December, with the return game a week later at Stradey Park.
