Edinburgh Festival of Rugby

Following the success of the inaugural Edinburgh Festival of Rugby in 2004, preparations are now well in hand for 2005. This season's event already promises to embrace more host venues and more visiting teams, supporters and spectators and we are inviting applications from even more participants.

The Edinburgh Festival of Rugby is organised by the participating clubs throughout the region to encourage greater participation in the sport for players, administrators and supporters at all levels, competitive, social and educational. There are opportunities for all within the Edinburgh Festival of Rugby from mini rugby, to women's, mixed, adults, touch.

Edinburgh is already a favourite venue for international rugby and Edinburgh's own Edinburgh Gunners professional team. In addition to competitive or social rugby, clubs offer family entertainment, BBQ's food and drinks.
