The Borders have announced that their game against Glasgow Rugby, now to take place on Saturday September 11th a week earlier than originally scheduled, will be part of a double-header played at the Greenyards following the Melrose v Gala BT Premier Division 1 clash. To accommodate this change the game against Edinburgh has been switched to the following Saturday, 18th September, with an evening kick-off at Old Anniesland, the home of Glasgow Hawks.
There should be plenty of fireworks for Glasgow's game against The Borders, which has been moved from New Year's Day to Friday November 5th, whilst the Borders' own trip to Edinburgh that weekend has been put back to the new year and is now scheduled for the weekend of 18/19/20 March. And Scottish rugby fans can start Hogmanay celebrations in style with a trip to Netherdale on December 31st to watch The Borders take on Edinburgh, (kick off 4pm.) in a rearrangement of that fixture.
In Ireland, Munster and Leinster will celebrate the new year with their game at Musgrave Park now taking place on New Year's day.
Full details of the changes can be found under the fixtures section of this site.
