His two tries, a penalty try and one from Edinburgh-teammate Grieg Laidlaw, who also hit seven successful goal kicks, mean Scotland will end their summer travels unbeaten if they overcome Samoa in Apia on Saturday.
But the 25-year-old, of Dutch origin, is adamant that contributing to all parts of Scotland's game was what mattered to him most in donning the dark-blue Scottish jersey for the first time.
"From a personal perspective it was good to get two tries but it wasn't one of my goals, I just wanted to have a consistent game, which I think I did," said Visser.
"It was a good start and getting back to winning ways with Scotland was brilliant.
"Being able to play against Fiji out here was brilliant for me because it meant there was a little less pressure than having to be in front of 65,000 at Murrayfield which was good.
"Samoa are a good side, we saw them play against Fiji last week - it was a fierce physical battle.
"In terms of a difference with Fiji I think they are a bit more strategical and they tend to kick a little bit and try and play in the right areas of the field which Fiji absolutely didn't try and do."
