On Pinder's landmark achievement, Glasgow Warriors head coach, Sean Lineen, said: "Sam has been part of the Glasgow squad for some time now and he is an integral part of this club.
"His attitude and work ethic are exemplary and I am pleased to see him reach such a landmark game this weekend."
Pinder will link up with Scotland stand-off Dan Parks who returns to club duty along with John Barclay and Kelly Brown who both feature in the back-row alongside Johnnie Beattie to complete the popular "Killer Bee's" partnership.
Elsewhere in the pack, Opeta Palepoi pulls on the No.4 shirt whilst his fellow Samoan international Justin Va'a makes a return to the front row.
In the backs, Max Evans comes in for Lome Fa'atau meaning the Evans brothers, both Max and Thom, will start a game on the wings for the third time in their careers.
Speaking about his selection, Lineen said: "I'm delighted to welcome Max Evans back into the team to link up with his brother. Max needs games to realise his potential.
"Justin Va'a also returns to the front row where we need to set a platform. OP is also involved this week as we look to improve at the set piece."
On the trip to Rodney Parade, Lineen added: "Playing the Dragons is always a tough test and this weekend will be no different.
"We have only beaten them once in nine games and with them getting the win at Firhill in January, we're going down there with only one thing on our minds."
