The 32 year old from Cardiff has made 125 appearances for the Dragons, ending last season with 99 caps.
Jamie has joined the field from the bench during the second half against the Glasgow Warriors and the Scarlets in the Magners League this season and looks forward to starting for the Dragons against Munster this weekend. He said: "It will be a proud moment for me on Sunday and one that I've been looking forward to for a while.
"Unfortunately last season injury held me back and allowed Adam Black to beat me to achieving the first of the region's 100 caps but I'm thrilled to reach this milestone in my career for the Dragons and hope that there will be many more caps to follow."
He added: "I joined the region at the beginning and have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Each of my 125 appearances from the region has been a proud moment but I'm thrilled to become the second player to reach 100 caps for the region this weekend."
