Hayes was named to start against Edinburgh in Munster's opening Magners League game, but cried off the morning of the game through illness, while Quinlan returns having recovered from a groin strain that ruled him out of Ireland's Summer Tour.
In all Munster coach Tony McGahan has made nine changes from the side that started against the Dragons last weekend, although five of those changes were listed on the replacements bench and three - O'Gara and O'Connell excepted - played in the game.
Supporters are advised that Saturday's game is a complete sell out, with no tickets available on the day.
