Dragons captain Tom Willis enjoyed his first victory of the Magners League at Ravenhill yet remains sensible about the work that is needed to build on the success.
"We need to build momentum after our first win of the season and I'm hoping that now we've felt that winning feeling, the boys will grow an extra arm and a leg for this weekend's clash with Edinburgh," said Tom. "We know that Edinburgh are a tidy and effective side and they will arrive with confidence after their victory last weekend. It is vital that we continue to build as a region and I look forward to a huge performance from the Dragons at home this weekend."
Paul Turner said: "Edinburgh travel with the confidence of a good start to the season and a fine win against the Scarlets last week and the task will be anything but easy.
"They're a quality squad who are capable of playing attractive football and, as last week's results demonstrated, there are no easy games in the Magners League."
Lock Andy Hall returns to the squad for the first time this season after recovering from a back injury. Andy said: "I'm pleased to return to the squad this week particularly after the win last weekend which has boosted everyone and preparations for the game on Friday have been great. I'm looking forward to getting out on the pitch again for the region."
The Head Coach commented: "I am glad to see Andy back with the squad and I am grateful to Luke Charteris and Adam Jones who have performed tremendously in his absence. The Dragons are indebted to the work that they've both put in so far this season."
