Despite having a game in hand Munster will aim to get maximum points against the Anglo-Welsh EDF Energy Cup champions Ospreys on Saturday if they are to keep the title race alive. The omens are good for the Heineken Cup semi finalists as the Ospreys have not won away in the league since the end of last season.
At the other end of the table Connacht will be looking to bounce back from their defeat at the hands of Ulster last week against the Newport Gwent Dragons at Rodney Parade. Both sides are struggling for form at the moment but the men from the west of Ireland know they need to win if they are to have any realistic hope of catching Ulster in the race for the final Irish Heineken Cup place next season.
Ulster can take a step nearer that goal should they beat Cardiff Blues at the Arms Park on Saturday - although the Blues, who still have title aspirations of their own, have won eight of their last nine games at home.
The round's final game sees Llanelli Scarlets face Glasgow Warriors with the Scarlets looking for a seasonal double - although the Warriors have won five of their last six home games against Welsh opponents.

Newport Gwent Dragons are without a victory in their last five matches since beating Glasgow Warriors 18-16 at Firhill on 4 January. The Dragons have won just one game at Rodney Parade since October: 15-13 over the Scarlets in the Magners League on New Year's Day.
Connacht have suffered six straight defeats since their 60-0 win in Valladolid against El Salvador in the European Challenge Cup on 13 January. The Irishmen have not won in Wales since their 10-9 victory over Ospreys at the Gnoll on 21 November 2004.
The last seven clashes between the two sides have all gone the way of the home team on the day, whilst Connacht have not won at Rodney Parade since a 16-14 league win over Newport RFC in September 2001.

Edinburgh Rugby have won just one of their last six matches: 38-8 over Connacht at Murrayfield in the Magners League on 21 March. The capital side have won three of their last four games against Irish teams at Murrayfield.
Leinster require 5 match points and a victory from their three remaining games to become the Magners League champions for the second time. Should the Irishmen win in Edinburgh they would tie their own league record for successive victories - eleven set during their first 11 league games between 2001-02.
The two sides have already met on three occasions this season with Leinster taking the Magners League clash 23-8 at the RDS in September, whilst each team won its respective home game in the pool stages of the European Cup. Leinster's only previous win on Edinburgh soil was 31-8 at Murrayfield in the league on 26 May 2006.
