The Warriors winger, who will try and out-drive his opponent on the golf simulator, is looking forward to getting one up on Edinburgh in advance of the big game.
Evans, who is actually a qualified PGA professional golfer as well as a professional rugby player, said: "Rugby is all about winning and that's exactly what I think we'll do next Friday.
"The competition between the two squads is massive and today's challenge will be no different. I'm confident I'll out-drive Alan and prove that Glasgow have the most drive ahead of such a big game."
MacDonald replied: "Although I might not be involved in the game next week, I'm really looking forward to going over to Firhill with the Black and Red Army.
"I'm Edinburgh through-and-through and it would be great to see us bring the 1872 Cup back to the east coast.
"I know Max is a good golfer, so we may lose the driving competition but I'm sure we'll win the rugby."
