Williams has made five changes to the starting line up as well as one positional switch ahead of the game and had this to say about the opposition Glasgow, "They are a side who have improved enormously throughout the last season. They play an open and attractive style of rugby and I know some of the players well so I am looking forward to this fixture. With the week we have had, the game against Glasgow is a huge challenge"
Justin Fitzpatrick is named at loose head replacing Bryan Young who is named on the bench. In the second row Ravenhill favourite Justin Harrison is named alongside Carlo Del Fava in what could be Harrison's last start for Ulster. The back row is all change with Neil Best replacing Kieron Dawson and Roger Wilson named at eight with Stephen Ferris unavailable due to an injury picked up on Wednesday evening.
Full Back Bryn Cunningham drops out of the squad after fracturing his cheek bone on Wednesday evening, Williams had this to say about Bryn, "I am really disappointed for Bryn, he didn't realise the damage or complain about the pain until well after the game, it just came on him when he cooled down and proved to be a fracture and we are all disappointed for him"
Mark Bartholomeusz moves to full back with Scottish International Simon Danielli replacing him on the left wing, the backline remains the same as the Munster fixture with Paddy and Isaac at half backs. Kieran Campbell is named on the bench on what could potentially be his last run out for his province before he moves to Magners League rivals Connacht.
Ulster received a lot of criticism about their line out on Wednesday night against Munster and Williams had this to say, "We had a technically bad night, nobody is hiding from the criticism, there is no excuse. So far this season our line out has been solid and after Wednesday night the only thing the players can do is get back on the pitch and get it right again"
With three games in ten days Williams is remaining upbeat about the gruelling timetable, "Training has gone well this week, clearly the fixtures and scheduling isn't perfect but I have had no complaints from the players, they know they just have to get on with it. The boys showed real pride on Wednesday night in their defence and tomorrow will be no different, it will be another hard 80 minutes and mentally it is all about the heart and playing for the shirt"
With Ulster not out of the woods yet in terms of Heineken Cup Qualification the team needs a big crowd at Ravenhill tomorrow to cheer them on and it isn't too late to get your ticket. Never before has it been so important for the players to have the support with Matt McCullough saying this yesterday, "Glasgow are a good solid side and have done extremely well this season, we are coming to the end of a really hard season, but, on Saturday it is about Ulster playing at Ravenhill. We need a good performance to propel us forward in the league to ensure Heineken Cup rugby for next season. Also, for the players who are heading off to pastures new, we want to send them off in a positive frame of mind. Finally, we want and need to thank our supporters for sticking with us this season."
Tickets are still available at the Ravenhill counter, over the phone on 02890493222 Option 2 and will be available on the gate from 1.30pm tomorrow.
