Also on Friday night Glasgow Warriors welcome current champions Leinster to Firhill Arena, a ground where the hosts have suffered only one defeat in their last five home RaboDirect PRO12 games. However the visitors, buoyed by their European victory over English champions London Wasps last weekend, will be looking to put to a stop to their losses in the RaboDirect PRO12 competition.
Finally on Saturday table topping Munster , already with two victories under their belt in the defence of the European title, face inter-provincial rivals Ulster , who came away with a win the last time the two teams met.

Connacht have won three of their last five games in all competitions including their 19-18 defeat of reigning RaboDirect PRO12 champions Leinster in the last round. Connacht are going for a third straight RaboDirect PRO12 win at the Galway Sportsground - to equal their best home run set in 2005/06. Just one Scottish side has won at the Sportsground since May 2006: Glasgow 40-23 on 13 April 2007.
Edinburgh 's 13-6 victory in Castres in the European Cup ended a three game losing run in all competitions. In the RaboDirect PRO12 the Scotsmen have won just one of their last five encounters: 32-15 over the Scarlets at Murrayfield on 19 September. Edinburgh have lost their last four games against Irish teams and have not won in Galway since 5 May 2006.
Connacht's last win over Edinburgh was 16-13 at Murrayfield on 4 March 2005.

Glasgow Warriors have won just one of their last five matches: 34-20 over the Scarlets at Firhill in the RaboDirect PRO12 on 26 September. The Warriors have won four of their last five home games in the RaboDirect PRO12, and have not lost at Firhill to an Irish team since Leinster won there 21-18 on 7 May 2006.
Leinster have won back to back matches in the European Cup. In the RaboDirect PRO12 have lost their last two games, whilst another loss would represent their worst league run since season 2003/04. The Irishmen have won three of their last four games against Scottish teams but have not won a league game in Scotland since their 31-8 victory over Edinburgh at Murrayfield in May 2006.

Ulster 's 13-9 victory at home to Edinburgh in the last round of RaboDirect PRO12 matches ended an unwanted run of six successive RaboDirect PRO12 defeats. The Ulstermen have won their last two clashes against fellow Irish provinces.
Munster 's perfect start to the season continued with a pair of victories in the European Cup over the past two weekends. The men in red have now won their last nine games in all competitions, whilst their last away defeat came at Ravenhill in April.
