The 29-year-old is desperate to impress Warren Gatland in the coming weeks with the Wales squad set to be named next month - but Henson is focusing first and foremost on the Blues' forthcoming RaboDirect PRO12 clash with European champions Leinster this weekend.
"It's great to be back out on the field," Henson told Walesonline. "I really enjoyed the two games I've played in, against the Dragons and the Ospreys.
"I'm pretty good and am just hoping to get a start at the weekend against Leinster, who aren't European champions for nothing.
"I'm just concentrating on getting into the flow of it and more involved in the action. There's always been a bit of hype around me for whatever reason but I don't think it has any affect on my rugby.
"This game with Leinster is huge for me, while it's really important for us to get a good result to take into the Heineken Cup."
