Nigel Davies' side continued their good run of form with a 16-14 victory however it came against a Glasgow side missing several of their internationals and who were, at one stage, reduced to 13 men.
Despite picking up the RaboDirect PRO12 man-of-the-match award, Davies was in no mood to soak up the plaudits and issued a stark warning they will have to improve significantly for the Heineken Cup visit of Northampton Saints.
He said: "We are competing very hard and there's real momentum building in our team but we have to make sure we gel the ability we've got and be really sharp this weekend.
"No doubt we'll learn from this and will go forward. We know we have the ability to do damage with the boys we have on the ball, but sometimes it's just the fact we expect things to happen. We've got to make sure we perform to our pattern not just throw the ball around."
"We'll be in for a hiding if we don't step up next week after that performance against Glasgow.
"A lot of people will be thinking they will be smarting for revenge, and that's going to be their drive - but Saints will be smarter than that and will stick to their game plan. They've had a good win last time out and it's a game both sides will relish."
"We are all looking forward to this contest. We were talking last week that it'll be a really tough day in the office for a side that comes up against us when all we have comes together - we know the ability we have in this side."
