And with only four league games to go, every single one is vital for the Scottish side's fight to hold onto the play-off semi-final position.
And with a host of international stars such as Chris Cusiter, Richie Gray, John Barclay and Kellock himself returning - the 31-year-old believes strength in depth could prove definitive in their season.
"I believe that the guys who didn't play last week will be better for the remainder of this season. To have the ability for the guys not to play, it's a strength that we're in that position," he told The Herald.
"The competition for places is something else now. Guys can go away and come back absolutely focused on what they want to achieve with Glasgow.
"We've had some great results in the last five games and it's a great environment to get into. Because there's such a clear focus, it makes it really easy to switch off and concentrate solely on getting into these play-offs.
"It's been the same through the whole season. When one guy's been picked one week but not the next and somebody else has that jersey there's a sense that you have to fill that jersey and be as good as you possibly can, because you know that the player who gets it next week will do exactly that.
"That's a great environment. It's incredibly healthy for that to be the case. Nobody's resting on their laurels."
After losing many of their players to the Six Nations, the weakened Glasgow team negotiated their five RaboDirect PRO12 games unbeaten.
And Kellock lauded the attitude of the entire Warriors squad and insisted they were all pulling in the same direction.
"Everybody's so focused and so positive that. There is a standard set about the way you carry yourself as well and it just drives everybody up," he added.
"I believe we're at the stage that it's absolutely a given and it's a given throughout the whole squad.
"That's another aspect of where we are. It's not 10 or 12 guys who have got this, it's everybody. I'm talking about 34 players who all go about it exactly the same way."
"That's a main strength of ours in that we do it for each other, the club and the supporters attached to that club."
