Glasgow won't run out again until March 23 against Italian outfit Aironi as the PRO12 takes a two-week break to coincide with the end of the Six Nations.
With Munster's clash at Aironi the only PRO12 clash before then the gap between Cardiff in seventh and Ospreys in third will remain at five points.
Fusaro will make the most of the clear schedule but, with the Blues following swiftly on from Aironi when they return, he knows the importance of maintaining this current run.
"We have a bit of time off now but we need to make sure we come back and hit the ground running," Fusaro told the Glaswegian.
"We have massive games coming up and need to take as many points as we can as we look to get into the top two and, if not, then definitely the top four.
"The match against Ospreys was phenomenal as we stuck in for the full 80 minutes and held on for the win. It's a result that could be vital as it's kept us in the race.
"We showed when we went down to 13 men that we became tighter and it was similar to what happened against Scarlets by holding them out till the end.
"The defence has been our strong point and it's great to see young guys like Alex Dunbar playing so well."
