Tipuric made an impact in Wales' Grand-Slam winning Six Nations campaign, coming off the bench at half-time against Ireland and then earning his first international start against Italy in a 24-3 win.
The 22-year-old earned many plaudits for the way he deputised on the openside for Wales captain Sam Warburton during the Cardiff Blues man's injury-hit tournament.
But now he's eager to rectify the Ospreys' league form, which has seen them narrowly lose their last two matches against Ulster and Glasgow.
Tipuric is starting at No. 7 for the third-placed Ospreys at the RDS Arena and sees the clash as the perfect opportunity to show the league leaders theirRaboDirect PRO12 title intentions.
"We did well against Ulster and we were a bit unlucky against Glasgow but hopefully we can put in a performance against Leinster," said Tipuric.
"Hopefully, we can get into the playoffs. The aim is to win the RaboDirect PRO12 but to start off, we must set our sights on the play-offs and if we get in those positions, then we'll go from there."
