Andy Robinson's men went on to lose 32-14 to the men in green but thoughts were also with Jones after he was transferred to hospital for precautionary tests.
It is still unclear if Jones will be available for Scotland's last Six Nations game with Italy, but Edinburgh will be hoping he makes a speedy recovery as they look to finish their RaboDirect PRO12 campaign on a high.
And early signs are positive, with an update on Scotland's official Twitter feed reading: ""Lee is going to hospital for a precautionary scan for his head knock.
"He remains alert and his parents are with him. Thanks for all concerns."
Scotland coach Andy Robinson added: "Lee's been taken to hospital with a head knock. We are concerned for him.
"It was a clash of heads. It happens."
