Scott, 21, admits their European adventure last campaign was shock, even to himself, but their early season form in the RaboDirect PRO12 this term shouldn't be taken lightly.
The Gunners head into Saturday's clash against Leinster hopeful of upsetting the Irish province and Scott can't wait for the test.
"It's different from last year last when we didn't know how good we were. On the Heineken Cup run to the semis in every game we kept surprising ourselves," Scott told the Scotsman.
"Now we have set ourselves pretty high targets. We are in a positive frame of mind and really ambitious.
"We're looking to keep the wins coming which will hopefully give us a bit of momentum."
