France is traditionally one of the unhappiest hunting grounds for Welsh clubs in European competitions but the Scarlets have already won away at Castres in the Heineken Cup.
And with their hopes of a play-off place in the RaboDirect PRO12 all left hanging by a thread following their 26-23 reverse to Edinburgh, Davies has called on his side to give it their all at the Stadium Municipal Amédée Domenech.
He said: "We are delighted to have this opportunity in Europe and we'll be putting everything into ensuring we take this chance.
"We had a pretty big win out in France this season and the boys showed what they can do in attack when they gel.
"They also displayed real steel to hold out when they needed to and all that can help by being in the back of our minds and give our mental edge a boost.
"We know French clubs are a lively place to play if the crowds get going.
"But our away form and our great travelling support this season has been strong on the big occasions and it's going to be a great atmosphere for everyone involved.
"I've told the boys thatwhile it's an intense and high pressure end to our season in league and Europe, it's also the last opportunity that this particular group will have to play together and the chance to crown it off with some silverware."
Davies though will not be able to call on the services of centre Scott Williams, who is still nursing a sore shoulder from the RaboDirect PRO12 defeat of the Blues.
He will also be sweating over the fitness of England No.8 Ben Morgan, centre Gareth Maule, lock Dominic Day and back-rower Aaron Shingler.
